[glow=blue,2,300]APOCALYPSE[/glow] Her golden shape trotted into view, her back to the horizon. The Serengeti sun was setting, throwing shadows across the landscape and interesting hues everywhere. Her shadow was a head and a mush of moving body parts, a tail swinging at the end.
They had been walking some time now. Maliki had been leading her to this esteemed place for a while now, and her anticipation was beginning to build. Her paw steps were guided by instinct, doing just as Maliki was. Her mind was elsewhere, thinking elsewhere. She was deep in thought, broaching subjects such as her attachment to him and her future with him, as well as other unrelated topics. Legend: Thoughts "My words" "Others' words"
OOC: Sorry, I'm not trying to control Maliki and I apologize if it seems that way. Also, I'm sorry for this fail of a post, my muse was expended on a wolf rp I belong to. It should return with time.

[glow=blue,2,300]APOCALYPSE[/glow] Her subconscious thoughts stopped abruptly as the High King grazed her flank with his fluffy tail. A shiver went up her spine at the touch. She looked up from the ground at Maliki's dazzling, flirtatious smile and smiled herself. Her smile wasn't confident like usual, instead it was suave and inviting. Her tail curled in pleasure.
She sped up a bit, just enough to be next to him, to feel his energy flow inside him and give him the heat off her skin. She brushed her flank against his. She rubbed her cheek in his mane and purred. She twirled her tail against his and wound hers around his. Her purring continued, soft, calm, and passionate. She closed her eyes and let her nose direct her in the same direction as the Highlands High King.
She was so close to being where it was she needed to be. Legend: Thoughts "My words" "Others' words"

[glow=blue,2,300]APOCALYPSE[/glow] "We're here. Take your pick of the caves so we can," he paused, "explore." She chuckled as he began to purr. She lifted her head and sniffed the air for any other feline scents, and could locate none. She then saw the darkest and most spacious cave and flicked her ear in that direction. "That one looks nice." She walked over with measured steps to the mouth of the cave and sat down, rotating her head to look at the details. Legend: Thoughts "My words" "Others' words"
OOC: Sorry about the short post. I'm was having trouble elaborating.

[glow=blue,2,300]APOCALYPSE[/glow] She had closed her eyes to let the breeze that swept by carry Maliki's luscious scent past her. She savored it and longed to brush against his warm fur and voluminous mane.
She stretched out and instinctively unsheathed her claws, sheathing them when she finished her stretch. Maliki's purr echoed in the cave and she opened her eyes to look at vast darkness. She purred back. She strode over, utterly blind, until she saw a vague shape lying on his back. She rubbed her head in his mane and lowered herself onto the cave floor. Her purr morphed into a growl of want and endless lust. She pressed her fur against his and felt his warmth.
I always love this part. Legend: Thoughts "My words" "Others' words"
OOC: I was thinking Maliki would reply and then we kind of assume everything and cut to a short time later, if that's OK.

[glow=white,2,300]Weather Goddess[/glow]
Overnight, it began to pour. The water accumulated in the sky grew cold. For some it may be refreshing, but it won't be for long. Neither a evil nor fair Weather Goddess am I. I shan't decide whether my weather be good or bad, just who it is that shall receive it. Hark! It hasn't worsened yet. But beware, for when the unexpected is expected shall be when the end draws near.

[glow=blue,2,300]APOCALYPSE[/glow] The sun rose, bringing with it a downpour of cold rain. The clouds hadn't covered the sun's rise, but when it had risen above the clouds the Highlands seemed a much more dreary place. She laid in the dark, dry cave. Her body was on its side, fur ruffled and warm. Her ears perked when she heard the steady stream of water outside. The rain's splashes echoed off the cave walls as if to amplify the effect. The torrent of merciless water washed away their footprints and leftover scent, thank the stars. She couldn't have them followed.
She didn't dare to move. Waking Maliki would provoke conversation. She was a relatively social creature, but she preferred action. Her eyes remained closed and her breathing remained steady, nothing suggested that she had awakened.
She wanted nothing to ruin what was laying beside her. Legend: Thoughts "My words" "Others' words"
OOC: Surely, I be jumpin' there after this post.
