This river stretches so far. If one keeps following it, they can go from beyond the jungle, through the desert, and right through to the Pridelands and beyond. It takes awhile though.

The Hunting Plains are something that one probably wouldn't expect to find in the middle of a scorching hot desert. It has quite a large amount of svannah grass, and some trees that provide shade, and if one can't see past the end of the grass, then they might think that they were in the middle of the African Savannah, instead of a mostly-barren desert.

The Oasis is a small peice of tropical paradise, right in the middle of the desert. Lush trees, lots of sun and shade, and a beautiful pool of bright blue water in the center. This is a very highly desirable peice of territory, and many many creatures have died fighting for the chance to be there for one day.

The territory here is hill country. The land is covered in massive sand piles, and there is very little cover to be found. The sand-land stretches for as far as the eye can see, and the golden earth is dry and reflects so much light that one might think the sand itself was the one creating all the light. If one is lucky, they might find some shade on the other side of some of the taller hills, but just beware of sidewinders during your travels, if someone is bitten by one of those, they're toast. From the Sandy Horizons, one can almost get a birds' eye view of most of the territory, depending on how high they climb. It is a common place for watching the sun rise and set.
