A New Start

Hey everyone!

As you've probably noticed, things are looking a lot different around here. There's a new skin and the boards are becoming empty, with all of the old threads being moved into the archives. It's like we're starting fresh without moving (as figuring out new hosts to move the site to are proving to be a challenge for me). So for now I was thinking, why don't we start over with what we have here while I continue trying to find out which website host will work best for Era in the future. Obviously proboards 5 is giving everyone problems, and this board too is bound to be updated whether we'd like it to or not. I've created accounts on jcink, invisionfree, as well as another account on proboards 5, and will continue trying to figure out how to work those in addition to getting things back up to speed on here. I'm hoping that eventually I'll be able to figure out how to work one of those sites, so we can pack up and completely start fresh.

So for now, I'm going through and deleting old member accounts of those who haven't logged in in over a year, with the exception of character accounts for people who have told me they are sticking around. For those of you that are still here, if you have an old characters that you no longer want to roleplay with anymore, please help me by deleting those accounts or just letting me know which characters you no longer want (you can reply to this thread, or PM me). I also want to move inactive character bios to the archives, so let me know so that I can do so.

With that being said, I have also archived all of the in character threads that were in the territory boards so that we can completely start over with some new active ones. If there are threads that were moved that you want to continue because those members are still here or have returned, just let me know and I have no problem moving those back out for you.

I know this is a lot, so thank you so much for taking the time to read it. For those of you who have stuck with Era through all of the ups and downs, a special thanks from me to each and every one of you. I know from experience how frustrating and time consuming it can be to stick with a site that's struggling, but because of your loyalty, I think Era will finally be able to come out of this! So here's to starting over again! I can't wait to get back into roleplaying and start seeing new characters, threads, and members popping up on the site!!

I hope we can get a better site soon and I'm sure everything will take off and be great again ! I'll be cleaning out a lot of my old character accounts too and freshening up my old ones until then. I'm excited ^ ^
