Quorra meandered along the sandy shore of the Crocodile Swamp, careful to remain silent so as not to disturb the inhabitants dozing in the water. Her pawsteps imprinted in the sand behind her, brief marks that traced her path down the murky perimeter.
Her long tail twitched slightly as she crouched and gazed down below into the water, tilting her head. She hadn't seen the crocodiles many times before, and though they were dangerous, the animals intrigued her.
The Outlander switched her position so she was lying down. They couldn't get her up here - she was safe. The golden-furred female's metallic eyes followed the reptiles as they clawed at the sides of the small cliff, trying to climb their way up to her - unsuccessfully.

[glow=purple,2,300]ARRA[/glow] [/blockquote][/url] She had been wandering the Outlands border for some time now. She wasn't one for trespassing, but the Highlanders had a sense of urgency that she could only take for so long. Of course, she spoke of Highlanders like she wasn't one, but she was and still is. Her black coat shimmered with the rain the bounced off her fur. Some of her chest-fur and fur on her stomach as well as the fur that framed her jaw drooped with rainwater. Her confident paw-steps left paw prints in the sopping dirt as her tail swung left to right. Her head was below her shoulders, her exhaustion quite eminent.
She slowly made her way up the side of a tainted river, plopping with rain. The humid air carried a scent, an Outlander.
Ugh, Rat-dung.
She slithered into the river to hide her scent, careful not to splash and cause unnecessary noise. She hid behind a log that was floating a few paw-steps from the shore and prayed the Outlander would pass and she could get on with her return home. Legend: Thoughts"My words""Others' words"
