bakari A stench permeated the air as Bakari strolled toward the swamp, making his face scrunch up in more than slight disgust. Bakari had not originated from a swelling, perfect pride, but the land he'd lived in had been many times better than the Outlands. Sometimes, the young male took to wondering how on earth he'd gotten himself in such a predicament. To be a part of the Outland Pride without even have been banished from the Pridelands? That was a bit unheard of. With a slight shrug of his shoulders, the male lowered onto his haunches and watched the lazy crocodiles shift almost silently in the slop called a swamp.
Bakari in all actuality regretted ever stepping into the Outland at times; even wished he'd stayed to challenge his father for some dominance. Which, if you knew Bakari in the slightest, you'd know how odd that sounded. Bakari was not a challenge type of guy. Bakari's tail flicked around his haunches as he drifted into a daydream, letting his mind wander. He didn't know many of the other lions around and was never really a part of any group of friends. Life, in all, was a bit on the boring side for the male.

[glow=purple,2,300]ARRA[/glow] [/blockquote][/url] She, too, was daydreaming on the Outlanders' borders. The front half of her body, including her paws and head, lounged in the Outlands while her back end stayed out. She had thought, I'm still in my own territory. It counts. Thus, she lay on her back with her front two paws resting on her chest and her back two outstretched, her tail between them. Her chest rose and fell steadily.
The sky was a dull, dark gray. The clouds were overcast, suggesting that a reborn rain shower was in their midst. The air was almost tangibly moist, and the pungent smell of the bog rolled in from the south toward where she lay.
Her mind wandered, searching the clouds with her eyes and searching her thoughts with her mind. Legend: Thoughts"My words""Others' words"
