Inaedelea Uzuri Deadly Love...
The sky was dark and the air was heavy and warm. A faint breeze wipped through the trees of the rotting forest. A golden form stood between two tree, its brown eyes scanning the death before it. It was a lioness, sleek and winded. She was panting, though gently. A crack of a twig to her left caused her to spin, her paws making no sound. Moving silently towards the noise, the lioness extended her ivory claws. Her lips drew back as she breathed in the scent of the forest. Ignoring the scent of the rotting vegetation, the golden lioness caught the scent of her prey. It was the scent of a lion. Moving carefully around the trunk of a tree, the lioness came up behind the brute. It was a large silver lion, his black mane at its fullest. He was muscular and handsome, but he seemed afraid. His blue eyes were darting back and forth and he was panting harder than the lioness. The lioness grinned wickedly as the brute began to creep forward. I've got you now... With a roar, the lioness launched into the air, landing on the back of the brute. The silver lion twisted wildly, slamming into the surrounding trees, trying to rid himself of the lioness. Growling in the brute's ear, the golden lioness sunk her teeth into his neck. Her tooth punctures his skin and the major artery in his neck. Slowly withdrawing her fangs, blood gushed from the wound, covering her maw in the thick sticky liquid. The lion fell onto the forest floor, his legs twitching as blood poured from the wound. His blue eyes were wide with fear and fogged with pain, but they found the lioness'es tan form. Her leapard danced before his eyes as she stood before him. Lowering her head to his ear, she hissed the last words he would hear. Tough Love... With a growl, the lioness ripped open the brute's throat. When he finally stopped spazzing, the lioness sat down on the ground not far away and began cleaning her bloodied muzzle. Yet another lover that had met a horrid death.

[glow=purple,2,300]ARRA[/glow] [/blockquote][/url] She sat bolt upright in the ashes, wrenched from her sleep by still pounding dream that had existed only a moment ago. The nightmare premonition ran across her violet eyes once more,
A dark sky A dark night None that could escape the fight The Kings of old The Kings of new Fighting for the life of you
She blinked, and the deadly vision passed, but the feeling of destruction remained. Along with it was a desperate will to accomplish something, something unnamed. She shrugged off the vision as another telltale sign of insanity.
She stood, shaking the ash and dead twigs from her dark coat. She had been out all night, again. A breeze swept by, bringing with it a warm breath of air. Also riding on the wind was a scent, or a few scents. The first she noticed the scent of a lioness and then a lion, neither of which carried the scent signature of a Highlander. The third was a scent of blood, plenty of it. This couldn't be good.
Her first thought was to run and get help, but she decided against it. Her little spat with Maliki was fresh in her mind, and she didn't know what the situation here was quite yet.
Cautiously and quietly, being careful to stay downwind of the strangers so as not to send her smell as a warning, she hid silently behind a nearby stone. The stone was a far enough distance away for her to get away safely, but close enough so that she could hear and see the goings on without being seen herself. Inaedelea Uzuri Deadly Passions...
The female shook herself and stood up. Seeing a patch of plants nearby, the lioness growled. Life did not belong among death. Wiping as much blood on her maw off, the lioness growled even deeper. Unsheathing her claws which still dripped in blood, she tore the plant out at its roots. No sympathy. No regret. Only hate. Her mind wandered as the heat caused the plant before her to whither quickly. I am dead as this forest is dead. No one wants me because I'm different. Because I was created by humans. Because I'm me. She sighed and lowered herself to the ground once again. As she began to stretch out in hopes of staying cool, she got an uneasy feeling. The wind had changed dirrection momentarily, carrying the scent of the silver lions blood to her. It was strong, strong enough for any lion to smell from a ways away. The hot wind also carried a different scent. The scent of a scent marker. Bolting upright, the tan lioness yook in a deep breath. She could smell the scent of the markers all around her. Growling angrilily at her carelessness, she quickly began to cover the dead lion with dirt and rotting wood. The decay would hide the scent for the most part. As she finished she gave herself a good whiff. The dirt and wood had disguised her scent also. Smirking, the lioness lept into the air, higher than most lions and landed on a branch. Walking carefully across it, she lept from tree to tree, making sure to land on sturdy branches. After going about three trees away, the lioness settled down in a tangle of branches, her blue eyes scanning the surrounding forest. She realized that the branches didn't hide her, but the fact that she was in the tree gave her the higher advantage.

[glow=purple,2,300]ARRA[/glow] [/blockquote][/url] She could tell that the scents on the lioness and on the lion were foreign, not from here. She couldn't make out the scent on the male, but the female's was from no Pride she had yet encountered. Whatever pride, she had mercilessly killed a fellow lion and was now hiding his body. She was a trespasser, and she couldn't be left alone. The rotting wood and covered her scent, and she couldn't be tracked. She had to face the stranger.
But, she wasn't without sense. While the trespasser hurried to cover the body, she planned her attack, and the best ways to fight her. When the intruder had finished, and had leaped up into a tree, Arra followed noiselessly. Once the golden lioness had nestled into a tree, Arra leaped high onto the bark of a stable tree and onto a branch level with the intruder.
"Vagrant, you are on Highlander territory. Leave now with your life." She ordered in an authoritative tone, not yet layered with threatening violence, but her muscles were tight in preparation to spring toward the intruder or spring away. This was a fight she'd been dying to have. Legend: Thoughts"My words""Others' words"

Inaedelea Uzuri Deadly Girl...
As her blue eyes scanned the beaten path, the part leapord lioness felt a vibration shoot through the tree. Behind her, a voice addressed her. Vagrant, you are on Highlander territory. Leave now with your life. A spear of sadness swept through the female's body. A vagrant. A loner. that's what I am. I'm alone. Yet as quickly as it appeared it dissappeared. Turning her head to look at the lioness, she studied her opponent. She's near my age, but still young. And a regular lion. She's not at home in the trees like I am. This gives me the upper edge. Looking into the other lioness's eyes the hybrid lioness gasped slightly. She has the eyes of a dreamer, what I used to be. And they are such an unusual color, too. It wasn't until now that the threat registered in her mind. Vagrant, you are on Highlander territory. Leave now with your life. Risng to her feet on the branch, the lioness turned to face the Highlander. Is that was this dreary land is called? The Highlands? She spat out the word "Highlands." And who are you to threaten me on my terrain? You are just a lion. Go back to where you belong, cub. By now a growl was rising high in her throat. All thoughts of their similarities were gone. All of the sorrow was replaced with bitterness and anger. All she wanted now was some peace. And she wasn't going to get it with this lioness here.

[glow=purple,2,300]ARRA[/glow] [/blockquote][/url] "Is that was this dreary land is called? The Highlands?" The stranger's disrespect to the Highlands disquieted her, made her fur bristle. "Tread lightly, trespasser."
"And who are you to threaten me on my terrain? You are just a lion. Go back to where you belong, cub." Her eyes flashed. "Your terrain? King Maliki won't be happy to hear that." She put extra emphasis on King. "You and I both are just lions, around the same age if I'm correct." She narrowed her eyes at the lioness above her. "Do not underestimate me." It probably wasn't a good thing, but she had be aching to sink her claws into a good fight for a while, so she didn't process much thought during this confrontation. The tawni hybrid let out a soft chuckle at the lioness.Tread lightly, trespasser she simply disregarded the remark. What the black lioness said next caught her attention though. Your terrain? King Maliki won't be happy to hear that. Yes, my terrain. The trees. I am at home in the trees. 'King Maliki' has nothing to be worried about. She snarled. Jumping nimbly to a branch above the lioness, the leopard hybrid looked down in distaste before responding to the lioness's other words. You and I both are just lions, around the same age if I'm correct. Do not underestimate me. A wicked grin broke across the lionesses face. I am not just a lioness. Have you seen any pure lions with spots like mine? So do not underestimate me.

[glow=purple,2,300]ARRA[/glow] [/blockquote][/url] "'King Maliki' has nothing to be worried about." Her claws unsheathed. "Indeed he won't, not once you're gone." Gone? Gone How? The threats were very much real, but she only processed thought after they had left her tongue. Her itching for a fight was overcoming her carefulness.
The rest of the trespasser's speech blurred as pointless words to her, empty threats. Her claws itched for blood, just this one time.
"... so do not underestimate me." A blood-lusting smile spread across her face. "I have estimated you just right." That was no complement. She knew what she meant, and she didn't regret it. At the moment, she didn't think she would. Maliki could punish her later. This trespasser had crossed the line long ago, and her king hadn't allowed any scuffles lately. She was nearly begging for the trespassing lioness to strike out. At least then she could pass off the lioness's impending death as an act of defense. Legend: Thoughts "My words" "Others' words"

The hybrid snarled as the lioness answered. Her eyes narrowed as she responded. Why don't you attack? I already gave you a reason. AND you're itching to fight. As soon as she finished, the hybrid dug her hind claws into the limb she was on and reached her front claws down towards the black lioness. Her claws extended, she swung them at the lioness'es face, taunting the female. Come on! Attack! that's just what I need to lighten my spirit! she hissed, a glint in her eyes.
OOC: Short, sorry...

[glow=purple,2,300]ARRA[/glow] [/blockquote][/url] She could feel her urge to sink her claws into her succulent flesh, substituting flesh for dry earth. She saw the claws clutch the air in front of her face, not daring to flinch away. Her snarl was fierce with a want for blood. But no, she would not attack first. Maliki could not blame her for this attack, not if she could help it. There was also the fact that the lioness was telling her to fight. She hated following orders in the first place, much less this trespassing flea.
Her muscles flexed beneath her grey coat. "If you wish to start this fight, do it now while you have the upper hand. If you wish to leave with your life, turn tail and run; run, like the coward you are." Calling the trespasser and murderer a coward was not in her initial plan, but she wouldn't take it back. Which was good, because she didn't want to. Legend: Thoughts "My words" "Others' words"OOC:: S'ok

The gray lionesses words struck her like a rock. If you wish to start this fight, do it now while you have the upper hand. If you wish to leave with your life, turn tail and run; run, like the coward you are. A growl rose in her throat again as she took in the words. What makes you think I'm a coward? she snarled, her eys gleaming with a sudden hate. If I was a coward, I wouldn't be here. That lion wouldn't be where he is! I am no coward. As she spoke, she lept nimbly down to the branch that the other lioness was on. The branch boughed under their weight, but Inri didn't care. Looking at the lioness again, she flicked her tail irratibly. You seem to be begging for a fight, yet you yourself won't attack. Why is that? Are YOU the coward here? As she finished, she smirked, her eyes flaring with anger. It took all her self-control to keep herself from attacking the gray lioness. She could tell she was itching for a fight, and, just for the fun of it, she wasn't going to give it to her.
OOC: My, my... Inri doesn't want to fight suddenly! ;D

[glow=purple,2,300]ARRA[/glow] [/blockquote][/url] Mrs. Flea stood her ignorant little ground. "What makes you think I'm a coward? If I'm a coward, I wouldn't be here. That lion wouldn't be where he is! I am no coward." Her reference to the fallen male sent her blood pumping once more. There were three kinds of lions that she could absolutely not stand: the ignorant, the arrogant, and the senseless, heartless murderer. Mrs. Flea was all three.
Mrs. Flea's inquiry about her own lack of attack neither surprised her nor put her itch to draw blood at bay. Her voice was icy. "You may call me a coward, and a coward I may be, but I am a concerned coward if a coward at all. I will not throw the first blow; my King cannot blame me for your inevitable death. If this fight is to occur, it will be on your stone heart. Know this, so that you may decide: leave and live or fight and die. Know also that if you choose death, that it will always have been your decision to make." Legend: Thoughts "My words" "Others' words"OOC:: Haha, well, honestly, I'm begging to start up a fight so I can whip out my old skills Also, odds are Arra won't kill Inri; she's too much of a softie about lives, so you won't need to worry about that. Both of them will walk away with scratches and bruises

Unable to contain her anger any longer, she tensed her muscles and sprang from the branch towards Arra, her claws extended. She aimed to slice them down Arra's side, as she flew past. Once she was past, she landed on her four paws, whipping around to face Arra. "I choose to fight. Not to die, because it will be your death. But because I feel like tasting yet another lion's blood... As she said this she narrowed her eyes to mere slits and licked her maws as if to prove her point. Her eyes were filled with the cold spark of hatred and anger, and her body was rippling in a hunger for a fight. "Besides... that lion wasn't a real challenge... I want my prey to fight back... Her words were as cold as ice as she spoke, no feelings except her hunger for blood seeping through the words as she faced off Arra, ready to spring again.

"Bold words for a cub."
Ominous words past, Intruder flung from the skyward branch, aiming for her flank. Her reflexes strung, she attempted to dodge the blow. Unfortunately, it is hard to be as fast as gravity, and she felt the lioness' claws draw blood from her grey pelt. She growled and her body followed the female's movements as she turned toward her again, unfazed by the minor injury. She felt the adrenaline through her veins, and knew this is what she had been waiting for; a chance to prove herself to her king.
At last. "I choose to fight. Not to die, because it will be your death. But because I feel like tasting yet another lion's blood..." Her eyes followed her movements carefully, pinpointing her steps' location on the terrain and looking for advantages and disadvantages. Meanwhile, her enemy was still talking. "Besides... that lion wasn't a real challenge... I want my prey to fight back..." She was fast, she knew that. Her dark coat most definitely helped in the shadows; of which there were scarce here. Drat. Looks like I'll have to do this the hard way. Her claws unsheathed.
She laughed. It was a humorless laugh, but a pointed one. She was just dying to be dead, wasn't she? "Then you've come to the right place!" She unleashed a feral growl as she launched herself with her back legs, braced against a stone, into the path of the intruder. She brought her right claw down hard near the area of her cheek. She aimed another blow at her front haunches before disengaging and retreating to a safe distance for re-assessing the situation. [/size][/blockquote]
