Zora had been hunting when a bad storm had blown in. Being high in the mountains, the lightening and thunder were more intense. Zora took cover in an area she tried to stay away from: The Abandoned Village. Although the scent of humans was weak and only sensed in a few random places, Zora hated coming here. She had always felt that what man made was for man alone. Until today. If she was honest about it, she'd say she was grateful for the shacks that still stood. She preferred to take cover in them, rather them some old tree. She'd be safe from the rain and lightening. As the dark brown lioness selected a small, one roomed hunt she saw the few remains of whoever had lived here. A broken clay pot, some chard sticks and dug out hole in the middle of the dirt floor. From what Zora could tell she was totally alone. She just wondered if it would stay that way. Little did she know that others were seeking shelter as well...

Deadly Love, Deadly Passions, Deadly Girl... Inaendelea Uzuri Rain pounded, lightning flashed, and thunder ruled the sky as a sleek, golden lioness struck out through the wet sheets falling from the shadowed sky. The rain drenched her coat, and dripped into her eyes, slightly blurring her vision. Her deep brown leopard spots seemed to melt into her fur, covered by her longer, goldne fur. Her build, though sleek, was well built, with muscular legs and a well designed for endurance. As the wind whipped around the hybrid's pelt, she headed towards what was the only know shelter nearby - the abandoned village. Her aqua blue eyes blinked out some rain, as they focused on the set of old shabby buildings that made up the village. Quickening her pace a bit, the golden beauty made her way to the nearest shack. She was comfortable in the shacks, and often came to them, as she grew up as a human pet. Nosing her way through the door, the vagrant stepped into the dark room. Quickly shaking the water off her pelt, she blinked, standing still for a minute to let her eyes adjust to the dimness. Her fur prickled as she scented another wet lion. Letting out a low growl, she scanned the room, looking for this "lioness"...

Zora snarled when hearing the hybrid's footsteps has it padded into the shack. She took a deep whiff of the stranger's scent. Female. Zora smelled. She melted into the shadowy corners of the hut. She knew this act of trying to be hidden wouldn't last for long, but it gave her enough time to examine the strange creature. At first glance the female looked a like an attractive lioness golden in color, but as Zora looked closer she could see what looked to be... leopard spots on her chest? Zora narrowed her eyes in the gloomy darkness. Yes, they where leopard spots. Zora watched the hybrid for a moment longer before giving a warning growl as if to say, " Keep your distance stranger.". Inri couldn't help but chuckle at the lioness's words. "Why should I do that? She purred, flicking her tail and padding towards the female, stopping only feet from her. Inri's aqua blue eyes blinking in the darkness. "You do not command me. Only I do." AS she purred these words, she lowered her haunches to the ground, wrapping her tail around her paws, and keeping her eyes focused on the lioness in front of her.
(Short.. but I'm working on my muse... ^^)

Instead of Zora being angry, she laughed. "Well I find that to be a very true statement." She backed away, she wasn't scared of the lioness; but she didn't like being so close anyone, even some of her most beloved and trusted pridemates. A crack of lighting light up the small hut, she didn't flinch. Flinching had never been a pride thing for Zora, it just wasn't something she ever did. She padded a few times around the area of the hunt and then asked, "I haven't seen you around much. What's your name?"

The tawny lioness flicked her tail, and stepped away, lowering herself to the ground, her legs to the side, and crossed her paws. Well I find that to be a very true statement. the other lioness chuckled. Inri yawned as she spoke, running her tongue over her paw once, before turning her aqua orbs on the other lioness again. The lioness didn't seem a threat, and, even if she did, Inri was more than capable to protect herself. Looking away, Inri half-listened to what the the other female asked. I haven't seen you around much. What's your name?
Inri let out a slight hiss, and turned her narrowed eyes on the lioness. "Inaendelia Uzuri. But please, call me Inri..." she purred, her voice silky. "The reason you haven't seen me around before is because I arrived only weeks ago."

(OOC: It's alright. I'm just as bad about replying! DX)
Zora looked up, "Oh?" She asked out of politeness. She didn't offer up why she was here, if the female asked she might be willing to answer. Something about this lioness, her energy perhaps, seemed to counteract her's. She wasn't exactly fond of the lioness, who called herself Inri, but she was open to change her early developed opinion. She was still standing, her back straight and tall, she preferred to be in a ready position. For what she was still not sure.
Zora growled, the rain had stopped but the thunder and lightening seemed to carry on, either of unaware or uncaring that the rain no longer fell. She walked passed the hybrid boldly, sticking her head out of the door of the shabby hut. "Well the rain has let off." She stated with a slight purr of satisfactions.

Inri nodded as the other female replied, before laying her ears back, fur ruffling, as the lioness walked past her boldly. Turning to follow Zora's movements, she twitched an ear. "Of course it has. You didn't smell it?" she purred, almost darkly. Inri had a habit of stirring up fights, and she loved each and every last fight she got into.
(OOC: They get shorter and shorter as the days go on... xD Too much Transformers... e3e)

Zora ignored the female's remark. What point was getting in a fight over a petty insult.? She walked out, enjoying the feeling of the wind wiping her dark fur around.
She looked up the sky dark and frightening. Something that excited her beyond anything. Highlands storms were always the worst in the Highlands but also the most beautiful and exciting. The ones that made up into the mountains are the strongest. She trotted through the streets, watching the storm above her.
