“ can I fill this in once I develop him a bit? If not let me know and I‘ll think up something” AYAN
Nicknames: none as of yet, maybe he‘ll get lucky and a friend will dub him with one does your character have any “pet” names? Gender: male Age: 8 months Species: lion Homeland: non as of yet Rank: n/a
Quick Description: what you see in his pic with paws the same color as his chest and tail tuft same as his mane tuft. Full Description: Ayan is an average sized lion cub. He’s white in main body color with a tan muzzle, underbelly and paws. His eyes and ears are also shadowed in with a darker tan. He has a dark Grey nose and bright eye catching ice blue eyes. His mane and tail tuft are a bright sun yellow, his mane tuft grows in such a way at the moment that it resembles a Mohawk of sorts. It also grows a bit down the back of his head ending in a bit of a tuft on his neck. He has two ebony birth marks on his face, one on the bridge of his nose and the other spreading from the base of his mane tuft and spanning out across his forehead and a short ways down between his eyes. He’s rather on the thin side for a cub, his build would suggest that he should be a well muscled and plump little fellow. Fate however has dealt him a different hand and it is fairly obvious at first glance that the youngster is surviving more on the will to live than a proper diet.
Personality: Ayan is a brat.. If you’re an adult that is. If you’re a fellow cub he can be quite fun to hang around. If you don’t mind getting into trouble that is. Its not that he’s so much out to be a horrible cub and the word evil isn’t something he knows anything about, he’s just been his own boss for most of his life and doesn’t trust nor see the point in giving adults due respect. He doesn’t go out of his way to be rude to them but Ayan won’t hesitate to speak him mind on any subject. He will do what he wants, when he wants as far as he’s concerned. When it comes to other cubs, well, whats not to trust? Their cubs after all right? What can they do that he can give back? Anyway besides that other cubs, or the few he’s come across in his wanderings, are great for having adventures with. All in all Ayan isn’t a bad kid, he’s just set in his ways and in need of some seriously understanding and insanely patient guidance, a gentle but firm paw wouldn’t hurt in the long run either. He’s a very adventurous cub, always into something, intent in learning all he can about the world from adrenalin inducing, first hand experiences. Not always the brightest choice in some situations.
Goals: Survival and adventure, and the occasional bit of food when it can be found, that makes for a nice treat.
History: Ayan doesn’t know much about what little of a past he has. His father was never in the picture that he can recall. His mother was killed in a hunting accident involving a sharp zebra hoof and her soft underbelly. It happened only a day after he had made his first kill of a rather fat lizard. He’d been so proud of that, at least he’d been able to share that moment with her right? Ayan was witness to his mothers injury and resulting death. Being wanderers she had started instructing him in the art of the hunt earlier that most cubs might be. Knowing that it was all to possible with the dangers in a pride-less life that her young son could possibly find himself on his own while still a young lion. Little did she know that it would in fact be that day and just how young he would be. Since that event Ayan has been roaming where his paws and adventures will take him, making a fleeting friendship or two that tended to end in someones dad trying to eat him and a nose full of dirt in the nearest burrow large and deep enough to keep him away from reaching claws. For the most part he’s been alone, getting into mischief which for him are more the trial and errors of life. Managing to survive, sometimes by a thread. And trying in general to make the best of what fate has handed him.
Author Alias: We’ll go with Ayan since he’s my first character here RP Experience: I started in 1996.. I don’t like to do the math, it makes me feel old lol, also I'm a horrid speller, I use spell check and do try though so my apologies in advance for anything it misses. How You Found Us: Using google I think? Or off a link for TLK.org..can’t recall but it was in a search of some sort RP Sample: Great biting lizards his paws were sore! Which was ironic given they were hard as dried clay after all the walking he’d done. Maybe it was that last stretch of hot sand a few hours back that had done it. Of course it was the left front that really hurt more than the others so maybe sticking it in that anthill a few minutes ago for the snack of licking then off it hadn’t been the brightest idea? Shrugging his shoulders at the pointless hindsight thinking of it all he lifted his gaze as a glimmer caught his eye. A wide grin split his muzzle as the tell tell sparkle of the suns rays bouncing off of liquid filled his vision.
“water!”
He whispered to no one licking his parched lips and hurrying his step so as to reach the source a bit sooner. Once he’d made it to the small streams shore he promptly dropped to his belly and dipped his aching front paws into the cool water. His pink tongue darted out as he lowered his head to lap at the waters surface and give the occasional swipe to his offending ‘ant’ paw where it lay resting just bellow the gently moving flow. That done he lifted his gaze and began to scout the area. An old dead log.. grubs.. no, don’t really feel like grubs today… a stack of rocks, lots of grass around them, dirts probably soft near this stream. Maybe if I dig a bit I’ll get lucky and find a mole rat. If not there might at least be a lizard in the rocks.
"Yeah.. Think I’ll have a go at that."
He murmured as he rose up from the stream bank. He shook each front pay in turn to rid it of excess water and padded quietly towards the stone pile..
