Proposed Plot
Land of the Prides
The rains are gone, the land is dying of thirst. The prey animals are migrating to find food, for all the edible vegetation is dead. The once-fertile Pridelands are starting to resemble the legendary image of the Outlands. The herds have moved on and the Pridelanders are starving.Land of the Outcasts
The rains came and cleared the air. The land, dry and dusty, was not used to so much moisture and the new rains that came to the land turned all the earth to mud. There is little shelter from the rains, and living in so much mud can create sores on the paws of the Outlands inhabitants.Land of Jungle
Just as what happened with the Pridelands, the rains have gone from the Jungle. The foliage is dying and whithering. The land once known for it's abundance of luscious foliage is no longer so lush. The Jungle creatures are being exposed to harsh sunlight and have no water to cool themselves with.Land of Desert
Water, more water than the desert has ever seen before. The sands are too wet. Sand bogs are starting to appear, invisible until it's too late. Sinking sand, constant stormclouds overhead. Thunder and lightning are making life difficult for all. After all, it's sunlight the Drylanders are used to avoiding, not excessive amounts of rain.Land of Shadows
The Outlands may have “birdy boilers”, but the Badlands have a volcano. And the volcano is due to erupt in the near future. The hostile Badlanders, banished to the Badlands for their crimes, would have nowhere to turn. Other lands may not have the heart to turn them away, even if they have committed outrageous acts of violence against their own kind.Land of Ancients
Rain, rain, go away, come again another day. The Oldlands have got rain enough to share with those lands experiencing drought. All of the waterways and bodies of water in the region are flooding. But the rain isn't stopping. And it seems determined to flood the entire region.Land of Grass
Roasty toasty Princess, roasty toasty Princess. Is it hot in here, or is it just me? A small drought and harsh sunlight is all that the Grasslands needs to set the whole territory ablaze. With the land mostly a rolling plain, there is no escape from the fire except to flee. But how willing will the other territories be to take in the survivors, especially if they've been tricked by refugee Badlanders?Land of Valleys
After an earthquake shook the Lowlands to it's roots, the inhabitants had to deal with their homeland having been almost completely destroyed. And to top it all off, the earthquake and unusually high amounts of rain in the highlands triggered a landslide, which added to the destruction of the Lowlands.Land of Hills
After unusually high amounts of rainfall, and an earthquake in the Lowlands, the region right beside the Highlands, a landslide occurred. The Highlands were devastated by the landslide, the landscape nearly as ruined as the Lowlands. But with the blood feud between the Highlands and Lowlands, lending a paw to the inhabitants of their neighbouring regions doesn't seem like too great a possibility.Everywhere at Once
And I was thinking of starting a traveling band of lions who believe themselves to be prophets, to visit the different regions and tell them what is coming. And perhaps the regions may not be so friendly to these visitors, and drive them out, thinking that their lands have been cursed by these lions which they believe to be evil.Other
Until we have enough activity for a majorly epic plot, we'll be using this filler plot that was decided on at the Circle Continues v2.0.
The travelling band of "prophets" is still under debate.
Please feel free to post your suggestions. I like to give everyone a voice in how this will work out in the end. What you post is up to you, and I won't get offended if you don't like my version of the proposed plot.
