Okay, I have a question for Era's wonderful members.
How do you like our one-account-one-character rule? I'm not sure if I've just joined too many sites and gone crazy, but it's really starting to bother me here.
Any opinions on the one-account-one-character rule? I loved it when we first put it in place, but now I've had a change of heart. Thoughts?

I kind of like the one-account-character rule, it seems like such a hassle having to switch back and forth between accounts just to post a reply to someone.

I like both because they have have good points and bad
One-account-one-character:
- -GOOD- All information on that character is easy to find for others and yourself
- -BAD- A hassle to change from character to character when you post
- -BAD- We all get lots of update emails for all of our characters
- -GOOD- Member count is high
One-account-all-characters:
- -GOOD- No need to login and logout to reply, so RP will progress much faster
- -BAD- Less member count on the site, so guests may consider not joining for that reason but I really can't predict if they will or won't because it's anybody's guess
- -GOOD- We all get less update emails instead of repeats
- -BAD- We will all *probably* need to make space for links to our characters profiles or etc. etc. unless you have one already
Of course the amount of goodness and badness to each point varies from really good to really bad so... yepp! I'm sure I haven't covered all the valid points these are just the first that come to mind. EDIT: Yes, you can disable emails but not everyone knows how.

I prefer the one account per character thing. It's just easier for me to keep track of my replies and who lives where and whatnot. It's not a hassle for me but I've also been rp'ing for like 11 years or something so I'm kinda used to it. I'm pretty sure you can disable email updates. I may be wrong about that though.

sheesh! I didn't like it from the beginning! To help keep track of my charries I simply create a pic with all of them in it and a short list below with their name, age, description, homeland, and rank.... Its soooooooo much easier to rp with one account and many characters. If i had two or three characters instead of six, going onto seven, i wouldn't mind....

I personally like the one account per character rule because as has been said before it helps me keep track of my replies. On proboards it only shows you so many threads and lets face it sometimes we forget some if we've been busy or what not. I like to just get on the character account and check and see where I need to post. Also I think it helps me organization wise, like remember all the info I need for that character.
