Full Description: Maliki is a handsome male lion, who has a dark brown mane which is a bit shaggy. His body fur is a dark tan color; his snout and coloring around his eyes are the lightest part of his body. Its color is an even lighter shade of brown. So over all, he’s brown lion. His eyes are a bright yellow. His look is normally that of a playful male. His paws are large and strong, his body is rippling with muscle. He is always found around a group of lionesses. He has a few scars, but they are hidden in his under belly. He got them once fighting off a Lowlander. His fangs are long and sharp and he loves flashing them at anyone who looks his way.
Personality: Maliki is known for being a total play boy. He can be a flirt and sometimes immature. But if you get the time to know him, he can be a really great lion. He is almost always found in a good mood. Laughing it up with the girls. So when things are good and easy, the king is in a good mood. But when the going gets tough, Maliki turns into a great and mighty king. He is extremely protective of his pride and doesn't take well to intruders. He is extremely confident or at least seems to be but under that mask Maliki is an unsure king. Since he is a bit insecure, he tries to make himself feel better by earning the affections of as many lionesses as possible. So when he is rejected (which isn't often) he get be a bit of a downer, normally not taking to responsibility well and hides up inside the deep recessives of the Highland caves to mope.
Goals: To be a great king and win the heart of the lioness he truly loves.
History: Maliki's childhood was good. His father was the king and loved his son very much. His aunts and mother doted on him constantly. He was great fighter and won most of the scuffles that broke out between the rival male cubs. He has always been a ladies man so lionesses were never far from his presence even as a young cub, giggling and cheer for him in mock battles with the other cubs. But all of that changed when his father,Kubwa, declared war on the Lowlanders. The battles were bloody and Maliki saw many of his friends and family die in front of him. Then one night, Kubwa told his son he was going to make his rounds around the territory and look for intruders. Maliki waited for his father, but he never returned. With a few of the lionesses at his side, Maliki began to look for his father, the pride's missing king. They found his bloody body soon after the search began. From what they could tell, his father had been cornered, attack and killed by Lowlanders. The pride mourned for their lost king and Maliki was soon proclaimed king of the Highlands in his father's place. The young male was never really the same, but he hides his sorrow well.
