“You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything.” ZORA
Nicknames: n/a Gender:female Age: 4 years Species: African Lion Homeland: Highlands Rank: Young Adult
Quick Description: Dark fur with blue eyes, no noticeable scars but is small one on right hip. Full Description: Zora is a dark brown young female. Her mother had light brown fur and her father had dark brown. She looks a lot like her father. Zora has a deep skin pink scar on her right hip. She also has scars on the bottoms on her feet and also scars on her sides but these are not as easily seen because of her dark fur. Her eyes are a dark blue and tend to be the first thing lions notice about her. Her face it normally serious and her body in hardly ever in a relaxed position. She is a bit tall for a lioness and her legs are muscular. Zora's tail is very thin and has a bushy brown hair on the end and her under belly, neck, and inner sides of her legs that are creamy white fur. Her claws are long and sharp that glint in the hot sun. Her nose is a light pink which is inherited from her mother. She ears are medium size and the color surrounding her eyes are lighter than her fur. Overall she is a serious looking lioness.
Personality: Zora is a loyal and brave lioness. But with that bravery she tends to blur the lines between knowing which battles to back down from and which ones to take on. This normally results in her cleaning easily preventable wounds. Zora is a lioness who has trouble trusting others and tends to be a bit of a hot head. She has always been mature for her age and is slow to speak. She loves to swim and tends to push herself a little too far when it comes to hunting. When faced with a dangerous situation she tends to remain calm. She is what some would call a night owl and is up most of the night and a good amount of the day. Now like any lion they can be unpredictable so Zora is not always true to these characteristic. Sometimes she does surprise the closest lions to her. Goals: Her goal is learn more about her parents who were taken from her former pride.
History: Zora was born into this world in the late night but her birth was not a time of rejoicing but a time of grieving. Zora’s mother had mated with a rogue and her child was considered illegitimate. Now their pride leader had made a law saying that if a lioness mated with a rogue and became pregnant, she and the child must leave the pride lands. But if the mother could not take care of the cub then a close relative could volunteer too take the place as the parent. Akoth who was Jumoke’s sister, volunteered to take Zora, knowing that she could not take care of the cub herself. Zora grew up learning about her mother but little of her father. She was constantly told that her mother and father loved her very much. Akoth taught Zora many important lessons about to be honest and think before you speak.
Author Alias: Nami RP Experience: A couple of years but never on this site. How You Found Us: Google. RP Sample: Zora crouched low in the grasses her eyes locked on her pray. The zebra had its head bent its long snout dipped in the pool of water drinking its fill. “Enjoy your drink, because it will be your last.” Zora breathed. She glanced over her shoulder to see if she was safe from behind. Zora was following a herd of zebra that were grazing on the edges of the highlands. Like all the other lions in the pride, they thought it was dangerous to leave the boundaries, but Zora was only on the edges of the pride lands so it wasn’t breaking the king’s orders right? Zora leaped from her cover and dug her claws into the hide of the zebra. It let out a sheik of fear and bolted forward, half dragging, half carrying Zora. Zora let out a roar and pushed off the ground and launched her back legs and up on the zebra. She hooked her claws into its shoulders and bit down on its neck. The zebra screeched and flailed about wildly. Suddenly the zebra lost its footing and went down. Zora lost her grip of the zebra and went down. She landed with a thud. The zebra slid forward and into the shallow ditch. Zora got up quickly cursing herself. She looked into the ditch to see it was filled halfway with water. Zora was about to jump in when she saw two alligators moving in for the ending blow. “Hey! That’s mine!” Zora snarled. But it was too late the alligators were already enjoying their new meal. Zora turned around disgusted but then froze. She looked around her. She was in the waste lands. Fear began to sink into her body. The chill of someone watching her sank into her skin. She quickly began to walk toward the edge of the waste lands pretending not to notice the moving shadows. Telling herself the sound of huffing and panting was her own breaths but soon fear over took her. And before Zora knew what she was doing, she was in full flat out run, fleeing to the boarder. “Faster, faster, faster!” Zora thought, pushing herself forward. She could see the boarder now. “Almost there.” She told herself. But then two large dark bodies jumped in her path. Zora skidded to a halt. “Leaving so soon?” The larger of the two lion rogues teased. Zora ignored the comment and tried to push past them but they only blocked her way again. “Please, I’m just trying to get home.” Zora said quietly. “Ah, hear that Collide? The kitty doesn’t want to say.” The larger one said his voice edging on disturbed. The one called Collide answered, “Aw, no fair. Maybe we can convince her to stay. What do you think Makko?” Zora began to back up noticing the dark looks on the rogues faces’. “Look, I really can’t stay.” The rogues faces’ were getting darker by the minute and Zora knew what their intensions were. Makko moved his face closer calling, “Here kitty, kitty, kitty.” Zora snarled and sliced her claws right across Makko’s face. Collide and Makko stopped. Zora began to realize she had just done a very stupid thing. “Kitty likes to play rough.” Makko remarked darkly. “Well,” Makko moved calling, “two can play at that game.” Without warning the two rogues jumped forward. Zora’s breath hitched and jumped aside, barely missing them. Zora turned and bolted forward, not looking back. Fear had over taken her. She had always been told she was a strong fighter but she knew that if she stuck around there wouldn’t be much left of her. “Come here kitty, kitty, kitty.” Collide taunted. Zora leaped over a fallen tree and gasped for more breath. Suddenly Collide was on top of her. Zora jumped into his side, front legs forward, claws stretched out as far as she could make them. They collided. The sound of ripping came next. Zora was attacking Collide's chest snarling and roaring as she did so. But she also was cut in the front leg and across her paws. The pads of her feet were bruised and bloody. Makko suddenly jumped and knocked Zora to the grown. Zora hit the ground rolling. Next thing Zora knew she was rolling down the same ditch the zebra had. The alligators were nowhere in sight but that didn’t mean they were gone. Zora tried to gain her footing but it was no use. She has rolling toward the water to quickly. The feeling of her body tumbled into the water brought on a new wave of adrenaline. Zora burst from the water’s surface and began to swim. She was taught by Akoth to swim in a young age, since she had always had an interest in water. Looking around her, Zora saw that the alligators were in fact coming. She snarled and began to swim toward shore. But as Zora began to climb up the steep slope the ground beneath her began to slip and slide. The mud was too thick. “No, it can’t end this way.” Zora thought. But she was getting tired and even if she did get to the top Makko and Collide would be there waiting for her. But as Zora began to lose hope the sound of a splash was sounded behind her and a new wave of angry roars broke through the sound of Zora’s panting and the hissing of the alligators. A wet body, warm and strong began to push Zora up the slope. Zora looked behind her and saw a golden brown lion helping her up the slope. She pushed harder; refusing for this recues to be in vain. Then the two lions made it up the slope they were greeted by a dark brown, blue eyed lion sitting by the body of Makko. Zora looked closely to see that he was breathing but they were painful breaths. Zora looked over at the golden lion and nodded a breathless thanks. He returned it. “Y-you alright?” The dark brown lion asked. “I think,” Zora began, looking herself over. In between her toes, blood was beginning to seep through. Her left front leg had a long cut down the side of it but it wasn’t deep. “Thank you both so much. You saved my life. I wish I could--,” Zora inhaled sharply and hunched over. Everything around her began to spin. “You alright?” The golden lion asked. Stepping over to steady Zora. “I--,” Zora took a few weak steps forward and fell. “Easy!” The two lions said in unison. But that’s all Zora heard. Because then everything began to fade and dim.

Approved!
Just a note, the King who would have been the one to exile Zora's mother, King Kubwa, has been dead for awhile now. He went mad after his Queen died and nearly destroyed the Highlands by starting a war against the Lowlands, which eventually killed him. His son is the current ruler and is about the same age as your Zora, and although he's a player, he's got enough sense that he would have abolished the law that lead to the exile of Zora's mother.
