Quick Description: Rust red Lioness with leopard spotted hindquarters and bright red eyes.
Full Description: Siri is a dark red pelted lioness with thick soft fur, and a solidly built body. Due to her mixed heritage her legs are a bit more powerful than most lions, allowing her to climb trees with ease and run at a quick pace. While her top coat is a dark red, her underbelly is almost gray with a slight hint of brown to it, as well as some of her muzzle and the toes on her paws. Her eyes are ringed in a darker red fur that almost appears black and actually is black at its very outermost rim. Her larger than average ears are lined in the same dark red fur while her tail tuft is a darker shade, not quite brown but not quite red either. Her nose is also a dark red in color, it would be almost indistinguishable from her pelt if it wasn't a shade lighter.

There is nothing special about her eyes, though instead of the usual yellow her irises are ringed in an almost orange color. Her irises themselves are a rich blood red, though they hold no evil intent or malice. However the most notable thing about her appearance is probably the spots on her hindquarters, they're the darkest part on her body, black and they cover her from the tip of her tail to right about her midsection before leaving off. They're most numerous on her legs and flanks, thinning out as they taper off.

Personality: Siri is most certainly not an extroverted person. She's a rather shy female who would rather keep her head down, then do anything to be noticed, not that she thinks anyone will notice her. While she is shy, she is also very kind and will go out of her way to help someone, she is very much a people pleaser and not very hard to push around if one knows how to simply be forceful or appeal to her better nature. She can't stand to have someone disappointed in her and will usually do whatever someone dares her to just to avoid their mocking or their disappointment. Meaning that if she gets near someone troublesome it can end rather badly for her.

Her low self esteem has a lot to do with her mixed lineage, she takes pride in her lion half but feels conflicted about the leopard half. Her mother was a lion that just happened to have a romance with a leopard when she was separated from the pride for a time, needless to say her father didn't stick around. Her litter mates died off slowly and she was the only one to survive, making her a hardy person and very much a survivalist on the inside. Siri is easily flustered by males and when said flustering happens she tends to stutter or spout random excuses and or facts. Its an odd hobby but she makes it her duty to observe other creatures and build up facts about them the best she can.

At heart she's really a hopeless romantic, that wants to one day be swept off her feet and find a mate that will love her forever. However she's never been confident enough to talk to a guy, let alone actually court or be courted by one. Her romantic has made her rather philosophical and she tends to over think things, dwelling on mysteries of the universe and on small things that most lions wouldn't.
Goals: To overcome her shyness, and to find a mate and settle down.

History: Siri's parents met by chance, Siri's mother Damu was seperated from her hunting party on a hunt for wildebeast and driven far out into neutral territory. The hunting in the area she was in was difficult and she almost starved, that is until she met her saving grace. Tsamu, a leopard who was in his prime and always on his own. He took a shine to the rust colored lioness he'd found starving to death on his plains and immediately took her in. The two stayed together for a time, Tsamu helping Damu find her way back to the Highlands. Their time sparked a romance and before Damu knew it she was laden with cubs, the father was unwilling to force himself into a life in which he didn't belong and abandoned Damu.

She returned to her pride and had cubs in the spring, most of the litter didn't survive, they were weak from the beginning. Only one small girl cub managed to stick out the heat and famine that had appeared. Siri. The small hybrid was darker than her mother with her fathers spots on her flanks and she was a bundle of joy for her first year, until she figured out that she wasn't like the others. She was teased by some about her spots, while others admired them, but the teasing took most effect and she grew ashamed of them. The pride knew she was a hybrid and not all looked on her with an accepting eye, and the lioness drew into herself to hide from them.

She was confused about her fathers abandonment and with no one but her mother left to her she dwelled on it. It molded her into a shy but kind lioness, whose heart was bigger than her opinion and who strived for anonymity rather than notoriety. She was however an excellent hunter due to her heritage and her ability to drag kills up into trees gave her an advantage over some when it came to protecting what she killed from hyenas and other scavengers. She accepted her gift without question but also felt it was just another thing that distanced her from the others. Until this day she has few friends, but she is friendly with all of the pride.
