Quick Description: Saila is a lean lioness with a dark brown coat and dark maroon eyes.
Full Description: Saila’s body is lean, lacking in the muscular department which gives her more of a ‘feminine’ look, which is one of the things she got teased for when she was a part of the outlands. She’s also a tad on the smaller size of most lionesses. Both of these combine to make her on the swift side but a poor fighter. Her coat is a little unkept and kind of like a milk chocolate shade of brown, with the underbelly, muzzle, and tips of her toes being several shades lighter, almost a dark caramel color, lending more credibility to her outsider beginnings. The inside of her ears, around her eyes, and the tuft of fur on the end of her tail are all black in color. Her nose is outsider in appearance, and is a dark maroonish pink color and her claws are black. The red color of her eyes is rather unusual, and can be slightly unsettling to lions that aren’t used to them. There are a series of 5 ‘dots’ beneath her right eye.


Personality:

• quiet , saila’s a rather quiet, withdrawn lioness. she’s not much for interacting with others and prefers to spend most of her time on her own. when she’s forced to socialize, she still remains quiet, only speaking when it’s absolutely necessary.
  
• opinionated/hard headed , though when it comes to opinions, she has very strong convictions for the things that she believes. she will respect someone else’s opinions but refuses to be swayed from her own.
  
• contemplative , the lioness is very thoughtful. she thinks before she acts, thinks before she speaks... she basically thinks before she breathes. perhaps it was part of her training as an outlander to be careful instead of careless since carelessness can get you killed.
  
• intelligent , saila is intelligent, but only about averagely so. she learns maybe just a tad faster than most, but not much. she only cares to take on the information that she deems necessary and important.
  
• fierce , when angered, this lioness is one of the fiercest. this is the only time she isn’t sitting back, thinking about her actions before doing them. if you anger her, she will come at you with teeth and claws bared, ready to rip you to shreds.
  
• distrusting , saila generally doesn’t trust anyone. she was bullied as a cub and pushed around during her days in the outlands. she finds it very hard to open up and trust anyone around her, though she genuinely tries.
  
• mysterious , due to her quiet nature, she is rather mysterious. she has this mischievous look in her eyes at all times, as if she’s constantly thinking of her days in the outlands, though she’s not. when it comes to males, the mysterious aspect has a rather alluring nature to it.
  

Goals: n/a

History: Saila was born and raised in the Outlands, one of the smaller cubs, though she never truly felt like she belonged there. As a cub (and an adolescent), she was bullied by the others for her quiet demeanor and her heart wasn’t hardened against the Pridelanders like all the other members, but against the own members of her pride. She felt more like a drone for Zira than anything else, and once the lioness disappeared into the flood of the gorge, Saila departed from the Outsiders, entering the Drylands in search for a new home. With her trust damaged, but knowing what she must do to find a home in a new land, she swallowed what little of her pride wasn’t shattered and eventually was accepted into the Drylands pride.
