quick description - Kazabu is a large light tan lion with a thick black man and bright green eyes.
full description - Kazabu is a large lion and if he had been in the pridelands when he was full grown he would have been larger than his father. Scar can be seen in Kazabu, with his thick dark main and sharp cunning eyes. Sarabi's fine bone shape and lighter pelt influenced Kazabu's own strong features and light tan pelt. He has a thick tuft on his tail and his hindqaurters bare a long scar from his father. He has a few lighter scars, almost unseen marking his shoulders.
personality - Kazabu is a flashy lion, he likes when people pay attention to him and he yearns for others to want to be around him. Kaza is cocky, arrogant, and proud of himself, a front he has put up because he is afraid of who he really is. Kaza is smart, his cunning as sharp as his fathers had been and he has no problem figuring out how things work. Unlike his father Kaza has taken a more compassionate look on both his pride and his land. He understands where his father had gone wrong and had vowed never to become like him. His fear makes him a bit snappy when someone offers that he's wrong or that he's being to harsh. He's not a pushover but he doesn't know if he's being to rough, or if he's being to soft. Kaza is confused, but the one thing he is not confused about is that he will never allow anything to harm his pride. No one and nothing.
history - Kazabu was born in the middle of Scars reign when food was still plentiful and the pridelands were only just starting to see the harsh rule of Scar. The little cub was born to Sarabi and even from a young age Kazabu felt some sort of disdain from his mother. He had and has a strong love for his mother but the distance he felt from both father and mother made him try hard to find love from both his mother and father in any way he could. As a young cub he showed great strength and cunning always coming out on top between tussles with other cubs. His father paid little attention to him and his mother did her duties but Kazabu knew that he wasn't entirely wanted. It wasn't until Kazabu was an adolescent that he realized he was an unwanted mistake that neither parent really cared for.
Kazabu grew more restless, more drawn into being the center of attention, to be someone whom others looked up to and appreciated. But how could he when he was his fathers son? Well, show his father that he wasn't afraid. Show his father how wrong he was to ignore his only son. Kazabu constantly ran his mouth, constantly bullied the hyenas and the lioness's true to Scar. He yearned for his mothers love and regrets being the son of a wicked king. A few scars that litters Kazabu's fur was due to his father trying to put him in his place. When Kazabu's defiance became to much Scar ran him off, giving him another scar on his hindquarters that marked him forever as Scar's son. Kaza left the pridelands, which by then had started to become a desolate place, to find his own way. He came upon a land so different from the pridelands, somewhere he found that he fit into.
Kaza's strength and cunning brought him quickly to the head of the pride, the lowlands becoming his. Kaza had been taught very briefly by his father about the Kings of past and each night he gazed at the stars, wondering if he would ever be able to join them. He was not sure he would be allowed with the great kings. His father was a horrid lion, he was the product of evil and lust. He was not born from a proud lineage, nor taught to be a great king. He was taught to fend for himself, to fight for what he wanted. He was taught to be the worst of himself. So how could he ever possibly be a great king?

roleplay example -He spent a lot of time up at the top of the tower. The heavy breeze whipped his long furry mane and he stared up at the bright sky with no real thought in them. Constantly he attended the daily ritual of returning to the spot that he had witnessed his mothers downfall becoming his own personal nightmare in which he was reluctant and unable to escape. He always wondered if he could have spotted his mother ealier, if he could have gotten down to the ground below faster. Each time he reentered the dream-like memory the rage he had felt when he saw that alpha bitch, he would not utter her name, destroy his mother seemed into his heart and a soft mist began to creep around him. Anyone who would disturb him would feel as if thier life was bieng sucked from them, they would smell the deep scent of death and hear nothing. No one disturbed him when he entered the rooftop, unwilling to entice Thanatos' anger.
His eyes closed and a the few tears he allowed himself started down his furry face. Where his tears flowed left a line of damp golden fur that lead from his eyes down to his cheek bone. He refused to let his father see the tears, he wasn't willing to let his father see the pain he was in knowing that his father's own world had been shattered also. That the oreo druin was in as much pain as he was and crying to him wasn't going to help anyone. So instead he simply found his own peace here, the winds kept most wolves away but his deathly mist made sure to keep unwanted away. He knew it wouldn't stop his father or Uncle Charon, but they gave him his space. Gave him his grief and let him run wild with it as long as he always came back. A low moan escaped him as he suddenly dropped to his stomach, a paw falling over the edge as if reaching for an invisible object. "Mother, oh, why did you have to leave?" He whispered to the wind, his hand-paw curled into a tight fist as he let another moan loose. Grief mingled with anger, revenge twirled around want for his mother. He blamed that Wynbain and her only. When Thanatos could think about the Alpha dog without feeling like his heart was being ripped open he would find her. And he would rip her apart.
Finally Thanatos rose, turning away as the slight mist slowly fell into oblivion and he moved down into the tower. His descent was quiet and his face was void of all emotion. He had become quiet and stony since the passing of his mother, such a change from the out-going, proud and loud youth he had been before. He wondered how long it would be until he was that youth again, or if he would ever again feel a lightness about him, without the burden of grief and anger.
