Ok so I have two plot ideas.. they could tie in, or could be seperate..
Nima is a pregnant female. The father of her cubs was killed in a stampede.. or so she thought.
Uno.. He comes back, with memory loss.. He does not remember much, except something about her seems familiar. The feelings are still there, but are weak at first. We can work into this.
Or dos.. Her old mate really is dead.. Or she gets tired of waiting for him to remember.. and anyway she finds new love..
Or tres.. She assumes her old mate to be dead, and falls in love with a new lion.
Alternate ending: At one point her old mate comes back, wishing to take her back as his own and willing to do whatever it takes to get her back.
