King of the Pridelands. Golden colored lion with russet mane and reddish orange eyes. Aged nine years.
full description -
Simba is a large, well built, adult male lion. His body is covered in thick and powerful muscle, covered by a pelt of golden brown resembling his father's. His head is surrounded by a thick, lush mane of a rich reddish brown color, that envelopes his neck and extends down the front of his chest. Simba's abdomen, muzzle, and toes are a light sandy color. Simba's nose is a deep pink, with long whiskers extending from either side. His eyes are a reddish orange tint, which he obtained from both his mother and his father.
personality -
Simba contains a strong leadership quality. His actions are always set to the welfare of his pride, serving as their strong leader and protector. He learned almost all of his leadership qualities from his father and emulates the king that Mufasa was. He is a responsible individual, acting accordingly in the best interest of others, along with himself. He is kind to others, especially those he knows best. However, Simba's difficult past has caused him to lose the sense of trust in those he does not know. He is also very overprotective of his loved ones, not wanting to go through losing them like he lost his father. Witnessing his father's death, also causes Simba to have occasional nightmares, during which he relives watching Mufasa fall to his death.
history -
As the only child born to King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi, Simba grew up as the prince of the Pridelands. His father taught him everything about someday becoming king, and Simba could not wait to take his place. Mufasa's brother and Simba's uncle Scar, was angered by the birth of his nephew, for it made him lose his place as next in line for the throne. In order to gain the power he coveted, Scar planned a scheme which was would end in the death of both Mufasa and Simba. Leaving Simba alone in a gorge, Scar sent hyenas to chase a herd of wildebeest into the gorge. The stampede was going to trample Simba until his father came to his rescue. His father managed to clear Simba out of the way of the stampede, before getting knocked by a wildebeest back into the stampede. Simba watched helplessly as his father attempted to climb up a steep rock face, to where Scar stood. Simba watched as his father fell from the rocks back into the gorge to face his death. As Simba lay helplessly next to his father's body, Scar came to him saying that it was Simba's fault that Mufasa was dead. He told Simba to run away and never return, and Simba did just that, as he was chased by hyena's who were trying to kill him.
Alone as a cub on the savanna, Simba faced death from the heat, lack of water, food, and shelter. So weak, he passed out in the heat of the sun, dying. He awoke a short time later to find the meerkat, Timone, and the warthog, Pumba, splashing water on his face. They invited Simba to live with them, and so he did. They taught him the phrase "Hakuna Matata", and to eat insects instead of the meat that he was used to.
Timone and Pumba raised Simba until he was fully grown. He had moved past what had happened earlier in his life and was ready to live his life with his two new friends, until one day when a familiar lioness came hunting Pumba. Simba protected his friend, realizing that the lioness was his old best friend Nala. The two of them bonded instantly, in a more romantic way than they had as cubs. Nala told Simba of what was happening in the Pridelands with Scar as the king and that he had to come back to take his rightful place as king. However, Simba did not want to go back, for the memories of the past were still strong and he still felt the guilt of causing his father's death on his shoulders.
While wandering alone, Simba ran into Rafiki, who spoke to him and helped him realize what he needed to do. He also witnessed the image of his father in the sky, reminding him of who he was. Simba decided to return to Pride Rock with Nala, Timone, and Pumba to challenge his uncle for his rightful place as king, The pride was surprised to see him alive, after having believed him to be dead in the time he was gone. Scar told the pride that it was Simba who killed Mufassa, shocking all of them, especially Simba's mother Sarabi. Simba went on to challenge Scar, forcing him to admit that he had killed Mufasa, not Simba. The two of them fought, resulting in Simba throwing his uncle off of Pride Rock to face angry hyena's below.
From this point on, Simba took his rightful place as king of the Pridelands. Nala became his mate, and together they had a son Kopa, who disappeared, and a daughter Kiara. Simba had to deal with his daughter falling in love with the outlander, Kovu, who was in a plot with other Outlanders to kill Simba and take over the Pridelands. He engages in the battle between the Pridelanders and the Outlanders (led by Zira), until his daughter reminds him "We are one," making Simba realize that it is not worth fighting. The Outlanders end up deserting Zira, becoming Pidelanders under Simba's rule.

roleplay example -
Simba sat on the edge of Pride Rock, watching the bright orange sun rise over the horizon. The light of the new day cascaded down upon his kingdom, illuminating the world in new morning light. It was here that he had sat years ago by his father's side, watching this very thing: the sun shedding its brilliant rays on the kingdom that was now his. Watching the new day begin, had become routine for Simba. Each day he awoke to oversee the kingdom that lay in the savannas below Pride Rock. It was here he watched the awakening of the world, sitting as their protector, their leader, their king. Like his father, being the king of the Pridelands was Simba's rightful place.
