quick description - Meeko is a dark tan lion with a black mane and tail tuft, with soft red eyes.
full description - To describe Meeko is to describe a lion who was born to be king, built for a king and born determined to be so. But more then that, he has the big build, bigger then most lions, that is both muscular and fit. He there fore has superb fighting skills, but if one can figure out his weakness it would be that he has a few broken bones which never quite healed in his ribcage, causing him to have breathing trouble at times. He has a scar from that, buried beneath his long black mane. His eyes are red, much like Simba's, staring out at the world with a passion and love for life and a love for his pride.
personality - He is a gentle soul, though be careful not to tick him off. He can be very aggressive, and if he is upset he might attack. However, he will resist attacking lionesses unless they are trying to take his life or one of his prides lives. He never would dare lay a paw tip on a cub, and treasures all cubs as the future of his pride. He loves cubs, though has none of his own. He likes to think of himself as selfless, though he is a bit proud and at times can be a tad selfish. Though he'll never admit to it, he loves lionesses of all kinds, and has found his mate.. Eupe.. His one and only.
history - He started out life as a normal cub, but to get to that you got to get to his parents. They were sons and daughters of the first white lions to be butchered for their skins, which lay in the human build what they called "Lions Tomb." In that case, they sought revenge for their parents, and arranged to have cubs from the most strongest and most clever lions they could find. Thus, the clever mother, and the strong father, bred together in hopes to create the ultimate king, to overthrow the Oldlands and kill the remaining inhabitants. Unaware of this plan as a youngster, Meeko was born.. Given an innocent name that no one would suspect harm to come from. It was supposed to be a weak name, but he grew up thinking that he was going to be king. Only when he was a teenager did his parents show him the great ancestors that had given their lives, leaving their skins on the Lions Tombs floor. Horrified, he became ready to go into training. Secretly they trained him, to go through with his plan to kill everyone in the oldlands once he became king.. However, upon becoming an adult he met Eupe.. And everything changed.. He no longer wants to be a murderer, but recent threats from his parents threaten to end both their lives if he does not go through with the plan. Eupe and Meeko are still quite young. Their marriage was arranged when they were only cubs, and they did not know of it until they were teenagers. They felt more like siblings than friends throughout their childhood and adolescence. Thus their relationship in marriage has always been rather awkward. They've been married long enough to have cubs nearing teenagers. However their relationship is still very awkward for the both of them.
