Quick Description: Light-furred lioness with dark patches on her ears and green eyes surrounded by creamy markings

Full Description: Kanii's fur is a light gold, accented with lighter, triangular markings throughout her coat. These markings are specifically above her eyes, on both brows, and scattered on the lower part of her pack. These two qualities, the light fur and tribe-like markings, are in the likeness of her mother: Zuri. Perhaps the markings on her lower pack are from her father, but who knows. The same light fur is located around her muzzle, on her chest and underbelly, on her front and back toes, and in her ears. The outside of her ears is covered in a patch of black-brown fur. Her nose is a pink like the inside of a plum blossom. [Refer to nickname: plum blossom.] Her eyes are like tropical kiwi. Her body type, at the moment, is very typical of a cub: baby fat and appendages that are often out of proportion to the rest of her body. But she grows into this over time. As she gets older, she becomes much more lean and muscled, just not overly so. It will be obvious that she is healthy and nurtures her body, but she doesn't appear too threatening. She does, however look quick. Which is extremely accurate, of course. She's always had that element of quickness to her, but as a cub, she doesn't realize its not because its talented, but because of her father's lineage.

Personality: Kanii is a young, adventurous mind. She enjoys running, and has the long legs required for such strenuous activity. But, she remains unaware that her long legs aren't just hereditary luck. They are because she is part cheetah. But, she continuous to be oblivious to such things, and others as well. She has an innocence that permeates her inner and outer personality. She is a very spiritual person and sets most of her hopes and dreams in the lives of her ancestors, drifting brightly in the sky at night. She loves the night, it's the only time she can see them. But she hates the Vinelands. She feels as if the trees cut her off from the sky. She loves open space and she loves to see the spiritual beings that she prays to every night. She dreams of space to run and air to breathe. She hasn't once thought of somewhere to run there with, but there's time for that. She's still young. Maybe she'll end up like her mother, mates with the wind-cat himself! She won't admit it to you, but she has dreams at night of having those trademark spots. And she likes them.

Goals:

• Grow up - be the person that she's always wanted to be
  
• Be free - be able to run wherever she wants, whenever she wants, without any obligations to anyone
  
• Find somewhere that nobody has ever found before
  

History: Kanii's mother, Zuri, met her father, Chima among his own kind. By kind, I mean a coalition of cheetahs. Yes, her father is a cheetah. Whether this is a crime against nature or an act of love is for you to decide for yourself. Either way you look at it, it was part of Zuri's nature after being raised by a cheetah mother. She was abandoned by her birthmother and so was taken up by the female cheetah. After realizing she was pregnant, Zuri joined the Vinelanders in an attempt to provide for her soon-to-be-born cubs.
