full description -
Giza Nyota is a dark, dark gray more so than black. Her fur is mid lenght and silky smooth. It shines like a star when light hits it at the right angle. She has a white spot on her chest, the only sign that she belongs to the line of the white lions. A scar cuts across her chest, but it is mostly hidden by her fur. Her pads are a velvety black, blacker than coal, as are the areas around her eyes and inside her ears. Her nose is also a velvety black. Her eyes are blue, the kind of blue you would see reflected of an ocean --deep.
Her body structure is more like that of a male's then a female's, though she keeps a few characteristics that are feminine. Her likes are strong and muscular, like a male, yet they are long, like a female. This gives her, not only strength, but speed. Her paws are large, giving her the ability to move quickly and quietly over any terrain. Her tail is long and also strong; she often uses it as a whip. She learned to give it the speed it needs to REALLY STING. Her chest is larger than most other lionesses her age, showing that she has great endurance. Her head is like that of a female, though her jaw is as strong as a male's. She has a tuft of fur that hangs into her eyes. Her neck is thick and strong. Her ears are larger and she has trained herself to be able to discern even the slightest sound.
personality -
Many lions see her as some mean lioness made an assassin, which she puts on as a front. She acts like a complete jerk to her pridemates and attacks anybody in the Outlands who isn't a pride member or isn't accompanied by one. Even then she keeps an eye on them. She never shares her kills, and often gets into scuffles with other lions. She is easily angered. When alone, though, she's a whole nother story...
Alone she is the sweetest thing you ever met. Like that of a princess. A few lioness are close to her, maybe two or three, but they only think they know her. She can be very hyper alone and she loves silliness. She also has a very good sense of humor and she treasures the time that she gets alone. She also loves to run around alone and to be by herself to think. But if you dig even deeper you discover her history....
history -
A black lioness was born to a white lioness in land much more peaceful than the Outlands. Indeed, it was known for its peace and how ALL the animals lived together in peace. Also, it was known for it royal lineage, the lineage of the white lions. This young cub, named "Nyota" or "Star", was born to the queen of the Oldlands -- Eupe. Then she was taken. She had only been with her mother for less than one week. She hadn't even left the den! Eupe was devastated. The lion who took Nyota left no scent. The caves only smelled like ferns, which the lion had rolled in to cover his scent. Nyota was gone. All Nyota now remembers of her mother is a scent, a sweet scent, and her mother's beautiful face.
Nyota was taken to a cave within the Outlands, where a lioness, who she called "Nanna", raised her. When Nyota was one year of age the lead Outlander lion trained her to be an assassin. She was commanded to succeed where Kovu failed. She was to kill Simba. She trained well, and soon she excelled above even Kovu's fighting skills. By three years, she was completely trained. The leader added the word "dark" or "Giza" to her name, making her name Giza Nyota. Her current orders are to kill Simba, and that is what she plans to do.
