art is not mine. I am lazy today. “ Aaaah! So YOU'RE the king around here?” SOOKA
Nicknames: Soo, Sooey Gender: female Age: 4 Species: lioness Homeland: Pridelands Rank: Annoying Adolescent.
Quick Description: Grey fur, faded brown, broad muzzle, light underbelly, spots on flank and cheek, blue eyes. Full Description: Sooka has a rustic grey coat with smudgy, mud coloured brown faded into it to form an interesting and unique pelt. Upon her head is a long, sharp streak of darker grey and brown, almost coming down between her eyes. On her right flank are four dark brown splotches that appear to be teeth marks, as well as more splotches on her cheek between her left eye and ear. Her large ears are rimmed with black and pink on the inside, her nose is pink and spotted along with her paw pads. This lioness has pretty, well-shaped eyes that are a light blue surrounded by the common yellow, making them appear ghostly at times. Her underbelly, muzzle, and toe's digits are the same colour of light grey as well as her eyelids. She has a dark grey, almost black tuft of fur at the end of her long tail. Sooka has a broad muzzle and kind facial structure, as well as a healthy and lithe body.
Personality: Sooka is a very outgoing, young lioness. Still being immature and childish at heart, Sooka gets very distracted in serious times and finds she would much rather play around than get into hunting, unlike most lions her age do. When she does hunt, she is very clumsy and usually scares the prey away, so most of the lions have agreed to not include her as much as others, though Nala, being lead-huntress, has her way of dragging her into the battle-field anyway, so to speak. Even though almost all of her peers hate it, she sees to it that Sooka does get the training she needs, even if she does slack off a lot. Sooka should grow out of it sometime.
Sooka is very kind at heart and tries to make the best of things and cheer other lions up if they're down, but sometimes things may not turn out as planned, and so, she may get herself or another into trouble. She is also very absent-minded as well, not keeping in mind the things she should, and usually day-dreaming and forgetting her duties she may have.
Sooka is a major fangirl. Extremely obsessive about the rulers of the kingdom and popular lions, always trying to get into their business and trying to befriend them and get to know them as closely as she can. This causes her to be a large pest in most cases, and Kiara even used to try avoiding her when they were younger, and even now, although the two have grown.
She is also adventurous. Sometimes a little too adventurous. A few times she has been caught wandering past the pride borders, and once even taking another lion with her, getting them both into trouble. Most lions her age try avoiding her some so they don't get themselves into trouble again, but they don't mind her company most times. Goals: To become personal friends with anyone or anything that's popular or in a royal family.
History: Sooka's history is much like any others', though the history of where she came from is still quite a mystery. As a very young cub, Sooka's mother bestowed the cub to one lioness of the pridelands.. Kula. That early morning, even before the sun had risen, the dusty, defeated lioness begged Kula to take the cub from her, to perhaps give her a better life than she ever could, especially now. Her mother was ridden with stress and sickness, and soon would depart. Sooka has no memory of her mother, or arriving in the Pridelands that day, and she was always told that she was born there, but the truth of her mother's death was never hidden from her. Luckily, Sooka never took it too hard; her life had been great living there with other cubs and lioness friends.
Ever since the beginning, Sooka had obsessive admiration for the royal family, and other popular lions. Whether it was jealousy or just pure respect, no one was sure. This young lioness took it to heart that she should do her best to impress and befriend the popular or ruling lions. It's just her thing. So she has been doing such for years, not minding her young past. Sooka still sees Kula as a motherly figure and respects her most of all though, and always trusts her.

The elderly lioness paws silently traipsed through the lush, dewy grass in the early hours before dawn, the horizon still tinted with only the light blue of the daylight to come, the stars only just starting to fade. Everything was still, all was quiet, and only the call of a few birds were heard of, and just one or two crickets and night-bugs, but even their noises were soft and peaceful.
In the darkness, the majestic pride rock could be seen silhouetted against the sky. The Pridelands were even closer. The lioness could feel her muscles aching from her constant treading of the lands for the past few days, only stopping to hunt a mouse or two. She felt her appetite had not been right to begin with and now it was definitely showing with her bones clearly protruding underneath her off-white fur. Her sore, tired eyes looked up to the stars in desperation as she walked on with her young cub still securely held in her maw. She knew now was the time to let go.. Only she needed to secure her cub with a good home before she left; she had not a chance to care for her any longer, for even now the cub was almost as hungry and feeble as her mother, since she was too weak to hunt.
Her tired paws pressed on and on, until they splashed in frigid water, which shocked the poor lioness for a moment until she looked down and realized it was a a simple water hole. The lioness had not quenched her thirst in a while, but she did not bother taking a drink, as two yellow eyes were cast out from the darkness. She took a step back hesitantly as she noticed the movement of another lioness.
"Please.. there is no need to be afraid of me, as long as there is no need for me to be afraid of you, miss," an familiar voice broke the silence of the night air and it calmed her down. She remembered that voice well. The lioness slowly knelt down and sat on her haunches, her body shaking slightly from her exhaustion. The young cub was set down in front of the lioness without hesitation this time. "N-no.. I can not harm... as you m-may see.. I have no in-intention to.." she paused for a second to let out a raspy sigh, "please take my cub.. I can no longer care for her.. I c-can no longer care for mys-self," she smiled kindly as she recognized the lioness before her. Kula was much younger than she, and she had faith that she could care for her cub, as an old friend. "Please give her a good home. A better life than I could manage for her. Her name is Sooka.. G-Goodbye, Kula, and thank you," The old lioness smiled a heartfelt smile, beaming through her pallid and sickly face. She then turned away from her young cub and past friend, soon disappearing into the tall grasses. Soon after, it dawned on Kula who it was, and she jumped up quickly, "B.. Bianca!!" she yelled uncertainly. She knew the old lioness was gone now, and that she would not see her again. The chocolate coloured lioness let out a long sigh through her teeth, still staring into the grass.
Her eyes closed briefly until she laid back down in the damp soil. Kula looked over the small cub, a smile growing over her muzzle. It was the half sister of Tama, Kula's long time best-friend. Of course she would take care of her. The young cub mewed desolately, and Kula held it in her paws. Kula thought that Bianca had died so many years ago, but it appeared she did survive, though now she would be taken that day.
