Broad muzzle, pridelander build, eyes appear violet, colouring similar to Simba's, red mane, golden fur.
Full Description:
Tao looks very similar to Simba in fur colouring and in his Pridelander body build, but in many ways they are different. Tao is quite a bit smaller than Simba, being so much younger than him, and his red mane that is not yet fully grown in is shaggy and pulled back in the manner that Scar's was. Tao has a broad muzzle surrounded by creamy fur that also appears on his underbelly, toe's digits, and all around his eyes. He has a fleshy pink nose and paw pads. His eyes are a certain shade of brown, but viewed from a slight distance they appear deep violet. His main furr colour is a rich gold and his mane and the tail tuft at the end of his long tail are dark scarlet. Generally, he is a very handsome young lion of three years old, and quite a catch to most lioness'.
Personality:
Tao is pretty shy around most lions he does not know and tends to keep to himself, for he fears what they may think of him and what they would do to him and he does not mind being a social outcast. Because of his father and the stress he was given as he grew up, Tao was made to fear other lions like he did his father. All he wants to do is please others so that they may not be disappointed in him like his father was, it is Tao's worst fear. To disappoint, cause trouble, or anything else of that sort. He doesn't want to be considered a part of any drama. If there were to be any cowardly lion, it would indeed be Tao.
Beyond this, he is actually a very nice lion and a good, loyal friend once some one tries to get to know him and gain his trust; then he will be himself. He is playful and generous and loves his friends. At any time he sees it is most certainly needed, he will stand up for himself and his friends and he could become violent, but such has not been seen yet.
Goals: His goal is to be accepted and loved.

History:
Tao had a generally stressful and hard cubhood. When he was born, he was a runt, and a very small lion compared to his older brother Kicheko. From the day he was shown to his father, he looked down at his newborn cub is disdain. He only thought of him as a runt and an unworthy heir; but that was fine. Kicheko was. His father gave him the simple name of Tao, not bothering to give him a better name.
When Tao grew older, he did try to spend time with his father who was kind to Kicheko and always fawned over him. His attempts were futile though and his father only snapped at him and acted cruelly towards him. One would think that Tao would be very jealous and hateful towards his older brother, but he didn't see it as his fault and he and his brother were great pals. The hatred was turned on his father, but he never bothered to show it. His father would never care, he would only cast Tao away from the pride if he tried to confront him threateningly.
A year or so later, Tao met a rogue lion. The two became very good friends, and so the rogue decided to stay around longer. Eventually the two fell in love. Tao's father one day was patrolling the borders and caught Tao and the rogue spending time together. His father was enraged at Tao for letting a rogue lion come near his lands and for even falling in love with it; Tao's father decided that if Tao was never an unworthy heir before, he definitely was now and his father saw it unfit that any king should rule with a king by his side instead of a queen. Tao could not carry on the circle of life. Tao's father harshly ran the rogue lion off, nearly maiming him in the process. He told his son that he would give him one last chance to prove he was worthy enough to even stay in the pride. Tao's heart was broken.
For days Tao sulked alone, far from the other lions. He never seemed happy anymore, but he tried to make his father proud, tried to prove himself. He never did anything wrong, but one night, his father banished him from the pride; Tao never got his last chance, he was gone without warning. Tao never colour get over his hatred for his father, but maybe it was just a hatred for himself. Tao always did blame himself for everything that went wrong, even when it wasn't, and so he did become a cowardly lion. He never wanted to upset anyone again. He wasn't afraid of other lions, he was only afraid of himself, he just doesn't realize it yet.
