Art is not (c) me, though the headshot of his real facial features is (c) me “I hope you are proud,” MUTHERU
Nicknames: Mu, Gender: Male Age: 7-8 Species: lion Homeland: Badlands/Outlands Rank: Warrior I suppose
Quick Description: Long, angular muzzle, like Scar's. Tall, lanky build, muscular. Dark brown fur, dark red mane. Full Description: Mutheru has a long, angular muzzle that looks much like Scar's, though his face does have a softer look to it. His eyelids are dark brown and black surrounding his green eyes. His nose is dark brown, or black. He is tall and lanky, though he is muscular and a good fighter in all. He has heavy black claws that protrude from his pale tan toes. His mane is fully grown out and a beautiful dark red colour, a large tuft of it hangs between his eyes, and may sometimes cover them up completely. His fur is a shade of dark brown, accenting his mane well, his underbelly, paw's toes, muzzle, and the inside of his ears are lighter brown/tan. He does have the famous look of most outsider lions, making lions of other territories wary of him, and they have good reason to. If you are near to him, you are able to see he is covered in many scars, making it clear that he has been through many fights and battles between other lions.
Personality: Mutheru is a bit like his sister, Samaki, rather she is like him. He can be a little hot headed at times, and he has the same slick tongue full of lies just as she does, though he is unique to himself. Mutheru finds himself comfortable in any territory, be it the territory he belongs in, or another prides, leading him the wander every now and then, though he is not completely vagrant, simply enjoying the power to wander. This does not go without consequence though, but any consequence afterwards is not harsh, since he looks a powerful lion, and most do not want to be responsible for causing any attack from him. This lion can be very kind and wise, making him a great potential teacher or leader. His life in the badlands/outlands has harshened him some in time, but it is necessary for a good rep there, which he is trying to gain and keep. Outside the territory he belongs in, he does soften his attitude towards other lions, and can be a great friend. Goals: For now, Mutheru's goal is to gain a good rep in the new pride he lives in. He also wants to visit the Pridelands soon.
History: Mutheru grew up in another pride quite a ways off, with his younger sister, Samaki. He was chosen to be heir in his father's pride. When he was a cub, his father of course taught him many things and what it took to be a good leader, so Mutheru is wizened in these ways. As a cub, his future looked appealing in his young eyes, and he couldn't wait for his time to rise as the new king. As he grew older, into his later teens, he saw how his father neglected Samaki and did not give her the attention she needed as a cub and young lioness. His mother was very attentive to seeing to her, but was often caught between Mutheru and his father, thus making her stress and slowly get sick with worry. And literally sick she became. She had stopped eating normally, even though Mutheru's father saw that food was arranged for her. Soon after, she died. The whole pride was shocked and Samaki was in a worse state, since her mother had always been there for her. After that she made great friends with Micheko and so on. Mutheru's father was very angry and beat her up, where she then ran away. Further infuriated with this, he took it out on Mutheru, lecturing him and scratching him up pretty good too. Mutheru was deeply hurt that his father had turned on the whole family and he soon left after his sister. He never did find out where she went though, so he eventually came to the Badlands/Outlands.
Author Alias: Lele RP Experience: 3+ years How You Found Us: Already have a character RP Sample: [see Samaki, but I will write anyway, just for fun] The sun slowly rose over the horizon, casting its first golden rays over the land, lightening the sky to gold and light blue, the clouds pink. The two lions sat next to eachother, watching the sunrise. The mist over the land was starting to clear as the land was warming.
Mutheru smiled, the reflection of the golden sun clear in his eyes, the light shining on his glossy red mane. His mane was starting to fully grow in with his early adulthood. He turned to his father and smiled admiringly; he seemed to be the most loyal, wisest, and kindest king there ever was to be had. Mutheru was almost oblivious to his sister's mistreatment.
After the sunrise, Mutheru and his father walked into the den to see his mother. Samaki was bending over her, the look of dread was clear on her face. Mutheru frowned and quickly walked over to his mother's side and saw her eyes were puffy and she looked very tired and sick. Mutheru asked if she was hungry and she weakly said no. Samaki then told her brother that she had not eaten in the past week or so. Through the course of the day, Mutheru saw that she had food available, though she did not move from her spot that she had been laying. She was gone the following night.
Samaki was horrified in grief and went hunting the next day, to try soothing her spirit, where she then met Kicheko and fell in love. Her father soon found out and was enraged.
Mutheru had his head rested on his paws and his body arched in a comfortable laying position, enjoying some light cat naps in the den. His ears flicked back and forth lazily as he vaguely listened to Mutheru and Samaki talking harshly outside. Harshly? Mutheru decided to let it pass, assuming they would get over it soon enough. That was until he heard paws thrashing heavily and the roaring of Samaki and her father. Mutheru's head shot up and turned quickly to see Mutheru hitting Samaki as she rightly defended herself. Mutheru roared mightily and rushed into to save his sister, tackling his father to the ground. Samaki quickly ran off.
When she did, Mutheru jumped away from his father. "Look what you've done! You have torn apart this family. I hope you're proud, Mutheru shouted at him angrily. He shook his head and mane in a rage and turned away from his pride, away from his future and after Samaki.
